Adam Lambert Gives Surprising Answer on If He Would Record New Music with Queen
Queen recording new music with Adam Lambert has always been a “maybe” of a situation, but Lambert may have decided the fate of any potential future project in a recent interview.
Speaking with Hunger, Lambert said, “People always ask if we want to record together and I’m not sure it makes total sense because it wouldn’t really be Queen because to me Queen is Freddie [Mercury.] My favorite thing is collaborating and putting these concerts together and creating on stage – it’s super fulfilling and exciting.”
No one can fault Lambert for respecting the legacy of the late Mercury and thinking this way. It’s also great that he finds performing with the band super fulfilling, because they have a bunch of show dates lined up in North America this summer with the tour kicking off July 10 in Vancouver.
