Trampoline Parks Can Be Dangerous
Trampoline parks have exploded in popularity over the last few years. But experts are warning that all that bouncing fun comes with a risk of ‘catastrophic’ injuries. CBS News reports that thousands of injuries and at least six deaths have been traced to trampoline parks. More than 18,000 injuries were reported in 2017, with experts pointing to insufficient padding, improper set-ups, and a lack of supervision as contributing factors. Some states, like Utah, have passed laws requiring tighter regulations and more frequent inspections for trampoline parks.
