Steven Tyler Opens Second Janie’s House Location
Steven Tyler and Janie’s Fund, which provides support to girls who’ve been abused, has opened its second Janie’s House location.
Located in Bartlett, Tenn. near Memphis, Janie’s House will provide shelter and treatment for up to 14 girls at a time and upwards to 30 a year. Per CBS TV affiliate WREG, Janie’s House opened Monday (February 4) with Tyler on hand for a special “scarf-cutting” ceremony.

The first Janie’s House location opened in Atlanta in 2017. Tyler launched Janie’s Fund in 2015. The name is a nod to Aerosmith’s 1989 hit “Janie’s Got A Gun” which explored themes of abuse.
