Fans Were Not Into The National Championship Game Halftime Show
It turns out, fans were not into Imagine Dragons’ performance at the National Championship Halftime Show on Monday night. Or at least those who were willing to tweet their feelings. The Las Vegas rockers brought out Lil Wayne for two songs: “Uproar” and the remixed “Believer,” which features the rapper. Unfortunately, neither artist could find any love from the social media platform. Some attacked Lil Wayne for his attire, while others mocked the band. Barstool Sports tweeted, “Lil Wayne robbed the pigeon lady from Home Alone 2 at gunpoint for this outfit on his way to the stadium.” Charlotte Wilder likened the show to torture, writing, “My brain is bleeding out of my ears!!!!!!! FINE I’ll tell you everything I know just make it stop!!!!”
