5 Fantastic Eric Clapton Rock Hall Induction Ceremony Performances
The legendary Eric Clapton turns 73 today (March 30), and out of all of his accolades, he’s the only musician to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times. (The Yardbirds in 1992, Cream in 1993 and as a solo artist in 2000.)
Considering the 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is just around the corner, we figured we’d honor Slowhand by taking a look at some of his best performances at the famed ceremony over the years.
1993 – Cream Performing “Sunshine Of Your Love”
1994 – With The Band Performing “The Weight”
1999 – All-Star Jam Performing “Let It Be”
2000 – Performing “Further Up The Road”
2005 – With B.B. King and Buddy Guy Performing “Let Me Love You Baby”
Erica Banas is a rock/classic rock blogger who once did a presentation in a college public speaking course about why The Rolling Stones were better than The Beatles. (She received an A.)
Erica Banas is a news blogger who's been covering the rock/classic rock world since 2014. The coolest event she's ever covered in person was the 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. (Sir Paul McCartney inducting Foo Fighters? C'mon now!) She's also well-versed in etiquette and extraordinarily nice. #TransRightsAreHumanRights
