GALLERY: Ringo Starr Becomes a “Sir”
Today (March 20) was a big day for Ringo Starr as he was knighted in a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
Starr told BBC News that being knighted “means a lot actually. It means recognition for the things we’ve done. I was really pleased to accept this.” He also playfully said of his new Knight Commander medal that he’ll “be wearing it at breakfast.”
Congratulations Sir Ringo Starr!

(Sir Paul McCartney inducting Foo Fighters? C'mon now!) She's also well-versed in etiquette and extraordinarily nice. #TransRightsAreHumanRights
