The 2022 People’s Choice Awards was held last night (December 6) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, hosted by none other than Saturday Night Live‘s Kenan Thompson. The live award show honored Ryan Reynolds with The People’s Icon Award while Lizzo received The People’s Champion Award. As for the iconic Shania Twain, she celebrated with The 2022 Music Icon Award before performing a medley of her biggest hits.

Before the stars took their awards home, they hit the red carpet. Take a look below at the 15 best and worst looks of the night:

  We are sorry, Shania, we love your music, but this outfit is not it. Halloween was two months ago, and this cheetah print is giving tacky.

  We love that Carrie tried to incorporate a festive pattern, but when it's on every piece of her outfit, it is wallpaper overkill.

• Worst: Sarah Michelle Gellar

  You can absolutely be on the worst-dressed list if you show up dressed like a grandma, even if you're Sarah Michelle Gellar. She should have lost the cardigan and struck some power poses on the red carpet.

  We usually like the singer's style, but at the 2022 PCA's, she went a little overboard with the black. The black lipstick with the two-tone hair is giving us flashbacks of our scene era in 2010.

• Worst: Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson

  We love how the iconic duo is reunited, but we are not loving Kel's suit. The tight, patterned suit isn't flattering on him. Kenan's shades of teal, though look amazing on him.

• Best: Noah Schnapp

  Though Schnapp's style is predictable for a teen to wear (crossbody bag and all), we think the best male star looks dapper.
• Best: Dwyane Wade

  Wade's outfit is more subtle and cool, but we notice the little details. His high-waisted pants with his shirt tucked in look fantastic under his royal purple Louis Vuitton jacket.

• Best: Heidi Klum

  We have mixed feelings about Miss Klum's outift. Had it not been for her extreme thigh-high white boots, this dress (?) would have been disastrous.

  We love a three-piece suit, and Ryan going for a lighter grey vest gives us more depth to his outfit.

  The YouTuber wore a really cool suit designed with a pink bleach effect. It kind of looks like a Rorschach test.

• Best: Billy Porter

  It doesn't matter that Billy Porter wore all black, for he is the master of textures and cuts. His outfits move even when he doesn't.

• Best: Olivia Wilde

  As if Olivia Wilde has to do anything to make her ex Harry Styles jealous. She can wear anything and make it chic.

  How does she look like she hasn't aged? Carmen looks stunning in this sparkling wrap top and satin maxi skirt. Paired with a smoky eye and high ponytail, she looks like a siren on the red carpet.

• Best: Niecy Nash

  Other than this dress being the perfect shade of mint green, Niecy Nash shows that even simple dresses can be gorgeous when you've got a rockin' bod like hers!

• Best: Laverne Cox

  Out of everyone who attended the awards, Laverne is the one person who pulled out all the stops in being the most glamorous person there. There is simply no competition when she shows up wearing this tropical gown with an elegant updo.
