Travis Kelce: How Did He Get Together With Taylor Swift?
Travis Kelce #87 of the Kansas City Chiefs looks on prior to the game New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on October 01, 2023 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Taylor Swift attends the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards at Prudential Center on September 12, 2023 in Newark, New Jersey.
Travis Kelce got a little help from his friends to help him get together with Taylor Swift. Shortly after the Kansas City Chiefs tight end detailed his failed attempt at giving Swift a bracelet with his “number” on it during an Eras Tour stop in July, sports commentators Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson shared a public plea for her to give the NFL star a chance.
In a clip posted to Thompson’s Instagram yesterday (October 2), Andrew states in the August 3 recorded podcast episode: “Taylor, I don’t know what you’re doing in your life right now besides rocking the world. Please try our friend Travis. He is fantastic! This is one, Taylor, I know we’re not the best of friends, we’re not even friends, but I consider you one. Take us up on this! Go on a date with this guy. Do it for America!” Thompson added in, “Do it for yourself, do it for us, and do it for the people. Because there is no one who would give you a better time than this guy.” As for what Travis had to say in response to their public assist, he commented: “[laughing face emojis] You two are something else!! [praise hands emojis] I owe you big time!!”
Fans also chimed in with the same sentiment, with one user writing, “Thank you for manifesting this. Really hope they can work out!” Meanwhile, another added, “YES you shake that magic.” A third commented: “Best wing women!”
As we recently reported, Taylor has cheered on Travis two weekends in a row. On October 1, she supported her new beau with some of her famous pals as Kansas City headed to the East Coast to face off against the New York Jets. The pop star arrived at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey with Sophie Turner, Sabrina Carpenter, Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Queer Eye‘s Antoni Porowski, and even her younger brother, Austin Swift.
Who Will Play The Super Bowl Halftime Show In 2025?
The Super Bowl is not only the biggest event every year in the sporting world, but the Halftime Show is also the biggest entertainment event. Even though the Halftime show is under 15 minutes, it is talked about months in advance. And if the performance is successful, it’ll be talked about for years afterward. Only the biggest names in music have had the honor to grace the Super Bowl stage: Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Aerosmith, *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Who, Prince, the Black Eyed Peas, Madonna, Beyonce, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and The Weeknd, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and 50 Cent, Rihanna, and Usher.
Super Bowl LVII show took place in Glendale, Arizona’s State Farm Stadium, and featured Rihanna. Fans who were hotly anticipating new music were given another surprise by the “Diamonds” singer. Debuting her pregnant belly, the artist’s performance wasn’t as electrifying as anticipated due to her inability to do any crazy choreography. The show’s elevated stages and backup dancers tried to compensate for that. As with any pop artist, people online were criticizing her choice of wardrobe and debated on whether or not she was pregnant, as she waited until after the show to confirm it. Though this wasn’t the comeback we wanted from Rihanna, it was still great to watch her perform for the first time in years.

For Super Bowl LVIII, R&B superstar Usher shook the stage with a medley of his biggest hits. He brought along Alicia Keys, Ludacris, Lil Jon, H.E.R., will.i.am, and Jermaine Dupri for the halftime show. Back in April, he told Access Hollywood that he “would be a fool to say no” to headline the Super Bowl, a “bucket list” dream of his. Usher has sold over 23 million albums and 38 million digital songs in the United States. With over 80 million records sold worldwide, the “There Goes My Baby” singer is one of the best-selling music artists of all time. See who we predict will take the stage for Super Bowl LIX below:
