Lance Bass Reenacts Amber Heard’s Testimony, Joining Viral TikTok Trend
Former *NSYNC member Lance Bass posted a TikTok this week mocking Amber Heard’s court testimony; his video has been widely condemned after going viral.
The video, shared on Monday (May 16), sees Bass “reenact” part of Heard’s testimony using the audio about her describing the first time Johnny Depp allegedly struck her in her ongoing court battle with her ex-husband.
“At this point, we’re sitting next to each other on the edge of the couch,” Heard’s recorded voice says in a voiceover, as Bass, 43, acts out the scene in his living room. “I was just sitting there on this carpet, looking at the dirty carpet, wondering how I wound up on this carpet and why I never noticed that the carpet was so filthy before,” the audio continues while a baffled-looking Bass lies down on the floor picking at leaves scattered on his rug.”
He captioned the clip: “I’ve heard of dirty pop, but dirty carpet… that’s a new one.” He added in the comments, “In honor of the trial starting back up… Had to do it!”

The TikTok has amassed over one million views, with many mixed reactions to the video. One person joked, “How did you get real footage of the scene?!” Another wrote, “She’s definitely heard of dirty pop..dirty pop a squat in the bed.”
While some users played along with the joke, others did not think it was funny mocking Heard, 36. “Making fun of violence? That’s funny to you?,” wrote one critic, while another said, “Regardless of if she’s telling the truth or not, you’re literally making fun of domestic violence.”
