January 20 is National Cheese Lovers Day. What better cheesy dish than a grilled cheese? Apparently the best grilled cheese in Delaware can be found down at the beach, in Lewes.

The folks over at EatThisNotThat.com actually put together a list of the best grilled cheese in each state across the country. To do this, they enlisted the help of our friends at Yelp.
“We identified businesses in the restaurants and food categories with a large concentration of reviews mentioning ‘grilled cheese,’ then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews mentioning ‘grilled cheese,” says a Yelp representative.
After then reviewing Yelp’s data, including the top few grilled cheeses in each state, they were able to come down to one location in each state that shined with their outstanding reviews. You’ll find anything from fast-casual joints to posh restaurants, they say.
