Kylie Kelce Funds Student Trip to Eagles Game After Teacher’s Request
When transportation costs nearly canceled a field trip, a high school teacher took to TikTok with a cry for help. Kylie Kelce and the Philadelphia Eagles came to the rescue, making her students’ trip to Lincoln Financial Field a “Christmas miracle.”
“I’m supposed to take my high school seniors on a field trip there this Thursday, the 19th,” English teacher Bonnie Giberson of Penn Treaty High School in Philadelphia explained in the TikTok obtained by Action News 6.
“We love the Eagles. We bond over them. We talk about every game. Most of my students can’t afford to pay for the field trip, which is how I cover the cost of the bus, and if I can’t figure something out by tomorrow, Tuesday, I have to cancel the field trip.”
In her TikTok, Giberson tagged the TikTok accounts for the Eagles, Lincoln Financial Field, Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, and Jason and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast.

In the hundreds of comments her video generated, one came from Kylie Kelce, wife of former Eagles center Jason Kelce: “Tell me your school name.”
After Kylie personally contacted Giberson, the teacher returned to TikTok with an update: “I got a call during class today. I was put through to a caller, and it was Kylie herself offering to pay for the cost of the school bus and to help us out with the cost of the tour at the Linc, which means that this is going to be completely free and available to all of my students,” she said in a follow-up TikTok.
During an interview with ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Giberson thanked Kylie and the Eagles for making the field trip possible. In addition to the visit, Operation Snowball, a holiday initiative created by The Philly Special, donated gifts for the students. Eagles offensive linemen Lane Johnson, Jordan Mailata, and Jason Kelce are members of The Philly Special.

The 'Kelce' Documentary Premiere
Again with the flip flops, Jason! In 2023, Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie released a documentary of their day-to-day life during the 2021-2022 football season. Revealed during an episode of New Heights with his brother, Travis, Jason says that he had worn this to football practice that day and he did not plan on wearing this outfit to the premiere. Instead, Kylie (who was also caring for their three daughters at home) was meant to bring her husband a pair of jeans and closed toe shoes for him to wear. That conversation led to one of the most iconic quote from the Kelce podcast, “Why didn’t Jason bring jeans for Jason?”

Did anyone expect this man to dress in a suit for this press conference? If you did, you obviously don’t know Jason Kelce. The legend wore a Philadelphia Eagles cut-off, shorts, and of course, flip flops. What you might have missed is Jason’s taped up ankles and it isn’t the reason you would think. Kelce’s long-time trainer, Joe O’Pella, posted photos and him and Jason over the years on Instagram and captioned the memories with this touching story. “You all know about the on-field accomplishments, and many of the off-the-field ones too, but what this man has meant to me and now my family over the past decade plus is nearly indescribable.” O’Pella revealed that when he was diagnosed with cancer and was out of work for chemo that he was upset he would not be the last person to tape Jason’s ankles. He continued, “And when he told me he would be retiring and I expressed my regret of not being the last person to ever tape him, and he offered to have me tape him for his retirement press conference.”
