So, what’s the best Christmas town in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey? In Pennsylvania, it’s Bethlehem, which is no surprise. “Visitors can browse or buy at Christkindlmarkt, a market with pop-up German shops that sell artisan goods like wooden toys and treats, enjoy the holiday lights on historic buildings and beautifully decorated trees, and take the Bethlehem by Night bus tour,” Trips to Discover notes. According to Travel Age West, “Intent to travel this holiday season is holding steady, with 46% of consumers planning a trip, compared to 47% last year.” Also, according to Trip Advisor, “More than half of Americans (57%) are preparing for winter travel, with 96% of them planning to travel as much or even more than last winter, according to Trip Advisor’s Winter Travel Index.” On top of that, Trip Advisor states that “seasonal data from the world’s largest travel guidance platform shows the majority (91%) will embark on trips for specific seasonal celebrations, such as winter festivals and activities, typically spending between 3 to 7 nights away from home to fully embrace the holiday cheer.”
