Travis Kelce Reveals His Guilty Pleasure Reality Show
Travis Kelce is all about indulging in “trash” reality television. That’s unsurprising since he also famously starred in his own reality dating show. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end gushed over his new favorite reality show on Wednesday’s (March 20) episode of his New Heights podcast.
Calling his older brother and co-host Jason, he strongly recommended the retired Philadelphia Eagles center to watch everyone’s latest obsession: Love Is Blind. Travis, 34, gave a backhanded compliment on the show’s sixth season, which aired last month. “It’s worse than Catching Kelce, but it’s so f—ing good,” Trav said.
Wanting no part of that, Jason, 36, replied point blank: ” I’m not watching.” Travis pleaded, “Oh my God, Jason, please,” to which his brother firmly stated, “No, I’m not watching that trash. I’m not encouraging Netflix or any of these other subscription channels to make any more of this nonsense bulls—.”
Love Is Blind‘s season 6 is reportedly among the top 10 streaming series behind Bluey and Young Sheldon, coming in third with 907 million minutes viewed for its debut week, per Variety.
Like so many viewers, it seems Travis was particularly fascinated by contestant Chelsea Blackwell. She was the contestant whose comment saying she has been told she looks like Megan Fox because of her eyes and dark hair was a hot topic. Trav told his older brother, “Honestly, I just want you to watch the one girl and hear her.” Accompanying his plea with his best impersonation, the KC Chiefs tight end added, “Do you think I’m clingy? I’m clingy? Really?”
Travis previously went looking for love on E!’s reality dating series, Catching Kelce, which originally aired in 2016 and is still streaming on Peacock. The show ended with Travis choosing his now-ex, Maya Benberry, as the winner. The 34-year-old athlete rarely addresses his history with the show, but in January, his managers confirmed in a New York Times profile that Travis’ team has no desire to do another reality television run. Despite that, ever since his romance with Taylor Swift, publications constantly report the couple's every move.
