One Delaware Spot Ranked Among Worst Cities For Singles In US

Finding love isn't always easy, no matter where you are.  But now we are learning that one Delaware town has ranked as one of the worst cities for singles in the country.  That's not good!

According to data from the U.S. Census Bureau,  47% of  the country's adult population is categorized as unmarried due to divorce, being widowed or having never married. In addition 57% of single adults aren’t even interested in a relationship or casual dating right now.  That's a lot of single adults who are loving the single life.

In a recent study conducted by WalletHub, they looked at a series of factors from close to 200 cities in the US.   The factors included the economics of dating and the amount of fun and recreation available to even create a date. In addition, they factored in opportunity. Dating opportunities include things like gender balance and the percentage of population that is single versus in a relationship. Of course, these larger cities won't come as a surprise with the higher populations and of course more option for dining and entertainment.  But is this Delaware town really one of the worst cities for singles in the country?  According to this study, it is, and ranks at #177 on the list.
