Kourtney Kardashian Says the Kardashians Pick Bad Partners
Kourtney Kardashian is calling out her and her sisters’ choice in men in the season four finale of The Kardashians. As an advocate for therapy, holistic healing, and vegan eating, Kourtney tells her mother, Kris Jenner, and sister Khloe Kardashian about her “self-awareness journey.” The eldest Kardashian sibling admits in Thursday’s (November 30) finale that she started therapy “through a toxic relationship and then learned so much about myself, about my family, about why I do certain things, about our childhood wounds, about how they show up in intimate relationships, generational trauma.”
Bad Partners
Kourtney shares three children with Scott Disick: Mason, Penelope, and Reign. The former couple was on-and-off for nearly a decade. She recently gave birth to her first child with husband Travis Barker, son Rocky. Khloe, who has been cheated on in her past relationships with Lamar Odom and Tristan Thompson, shared how she’s skeptical of the Poosh founder’s therapy talk. Khloe replies, “No offense or anything, but we all have f—ing problems, just buckle up and let’s go.” However, Kourtney points out, there are “certain patterns to break. You don’t want to pass things down to your kids.”
The Good American founder then asked if Kourtney felt that choosing “bad partners” is a genetic trait. Momager Kris interrupts the conversation to say she has a “full, fabulous life, why am I going back to reimagine?” After Kris attempts to change the subject, Kourtney calls out her mom for not trying to face “these types of topics. Later in the episode, Kourtney shares, “I know that people in my family would benefit from therapy. But I’m letting go of trying to change other people and just accepting everyone for who they are.”
As we earlier reported, Tristan has attempted to talk to Khloe’s sisters to apologize for how he treated her when they were together. In an earlier episode from this season, Kourtney called out her family for prioritizing the unfaithful men over the women they have affected.
All four seasons of The Kardashians are streaming on Hulu.
