One Delaware Suburb Has One Of The Most Envied Lifestyles In America
Residents of Delaware know how good we have it here. The weather isn’t too terrible, for the most part. The people are friendly. And there’s plenty to do to keep us occupied.
According to a recent study, one Delaware suburb has in fact been named as one of the highest rated for most envied lifestyles in the country.
When the COVID-19 pandemic began in the United States in 2020, life in a larger city might’ve been considered an ideal lifestyle. New York City for example may have afforded more opportunities with larger companies and more than average salaries. Among other things, these two advantages were intriguing to a vast majority of people.
With the end of the pandemic came a new reality and a major shift in work habits country wide. With this shift employers were no longer requiring employees to report to the office, or even to live in the same town, as long as they could work remote. Now, in 2023, suburban lifestyles are considered more desirable.
So, where are these towns? The crew at MovingFeedback went on a search to find them. In a nationwide survey involving 3,000 Americans, their goal was to discover the most desirable suburban lifestyles in the US. With the data, they ranked these cities from 1-175. Read the full study here.

We don’t see the Delaware Suburb in the top 10, but Hockessin did make the list, coming in at #102.

Charleston is a great town. It definitely has parts of it that feel like you’re in a small college town. But it also has parts that have the southern charm of a small town. Great food, great music, and great drinks.
