2 Delaware Beach Towns Are Among The Most Expensive For An Ocean View
Rumors have been swirling around New Castle County this summer. We’ve heard folks say that they haven’t made it down the beach yet, and may not, because prices are simply too high in some Delaware beach towns. Data from the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce shows Delaware Beaches hotel bookings are down.
In a recent study conducted by Upgraded Points, they list the top 75 beach towns across the country with the highest premium rate for an ocean view room. Two of those mentioned are two of Delaware’s most popular beach towns.
To uncover the beach towns on this list, 75 of the most popular beach towns were considered, using data from both Travel + Leisure and Southern Living. Airbnb rankings listing the average nightly price of both an entire house and a hotel, using the “beachfront” filter to narrow the search, were also considered.
