The Grand In Wilmington Has Opened Their 2023-2024 Season
The Grand in Wilmington is thrilled to open another season to the general public. The fun starts on September 6th with the Byrds co-founder and acclaimed guitarist Roger McGuinn. All shows for the 2023-2024 season are on sale now.
Highlights of this year’s currently announced line up include some favorites. Enjoy a night with singer-songwriters Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt Together on Stage on October 5th. On September 26th, get ready for your favorite Disney Junior and Marvel Superheroes characters as they star in Disney Junior Live On Tour: Costume Palooza!
If you’re looking for a good laugh, there are plenty of comedians on the line up at The Grand next season too. See comedian Tig Notaro on September 17th, David Sedaris on April 5th, and Lewis Black Live on May 2nd.
Celebrate world music and culture with the Pedrito Martinez Group on September 29th and Tablao Flamenco on September 30th. And enjoy Broadway legends Alan Cumming on October 28th and Sutton Foster on March 2nd.
The Grand’s Broadway in Wilmington series
The Playhouse on Rodney Square opens in October with the North American tour of Hollywood’s most beloved romantic story, Pretty Woman: The Musical, showing October 13 – 15.
“We are so excited to welcome the community to The Grand this season. There is absolutely something for everyone” says Pamelyn Manocchio, Executive Director. “It is our sincere hope that we continue the rich history of this historic building as Delaware’s home for the performing arts and place to create lasting memories.”
