It started with Deanna and Justin in the Morning (and Hollywood Kyle). A bit different from last year, the morning crew broadcasted their show LIVE from the Lighthouse in Dewey with the seagulls.
They also decided to stomp their own oranges and make fresh squeezed orange juice for orange crushes. Ok, not really. No one drank the juice, thank goodness. But they did stomp! Who do you think won?

Mike Rossi hopped on for his show in the midday from 10-2 just as the Lighthouse was beginning to open and that’s when the fun started to ensue.
Orange crushes were being poured, people were trailing in from nearby hotels and beach houses and we geared up for the afternoon madness.
EJ started his show at 2 as per usual, this time with crashing waves in the background and the drinks flowing.
There was even a game of HUMAN RING TOSS between two lucky listeners. They paired up with Deanna Marie and Chris Leonard for bragging rights and swag.

As in many years in the past, WJBR has celebrated the kickoff to summer by broadcasting at the Lighthouse in Dewey.
Last year, the owner of the Lighthouse was celebrating his 70th birthday and rented out the entire space to party with his friends and family.
We had a wonderful time setting up shop at the Top Of The Pines in Rehoboth. We met some wonderful folks, played games with tons of new listeners and enjoyed everything Rehoboth had to offer.
This year we are so excited to be back at The Lighthouse to help kick off the official start to summer.
Join us as we celebrate Memorial Day Weekend on Friday May 26th, 2023.
The fun will begin with Deanna and Justin In The Morning. Their LIVE broadcast will take place from 6am-10am. Mike Rossi will follow up from 10am-2pm and EJ will close out the day from 2-7pm.
You can also find Deanna and Justin at the Acme Rehoboth on Coastal Highway from 11am-12:30 following their broadcast, and Hollywood Kyle at the same Acme from 12:30pm-2.
The party will be going on all day long at the Lighthouse. Join WJBR for fun, games and even some prizes.
