Flo Rida’s Son In ICU After Falling From 5-Story Window
Flo Rida’s six-year-old son is currently in the intensive care unit. The boy fell from a five-story apartment building window earlier this month. According to the Daily Voice, Alexis Adams, mother to Zohar Dilliard, filed a lawsuit against the Jersey City building’s management on Monday (March 27). She claims the building management was “negligent and careless and did not install size guards on the window.” Adams believes that’s what led to the fall.
Zohar “suffered a shattered pelvis, metatarsal fractures, a liver laceration, internal bleeding, and collapsed lungs.” He was previously diagnosed with autism and a brain condition called hydrocephalus. “As a single mom to a special needs child, this feels like a nightmare,” Adams said. “My heart is broken into a million pieces. It is devastating to see my child go through such pain and trauma knowing that this could’ve been avoided.”
Adams filed a lawsuit with the Hudson County Superior Court. She is requesting financial compensation to treat her son’s injuries. The amount Adams is requesting has not been disclosed. Zohar’s father, rapper Flo Rida, was not named in the suit. Flo Rida’s real name is Tramar Lacel Dillard. He has not yet commented on the suit.
Flo Rida recently won a lawsuit against the sports drink company Celsius. The rapper born Tramar Lacel Dillard, and his company Strong Arm Productions sued Celsius for alleged breach of contract, and unpaid compensation over an endorsement deal signed with the artist in 2014 and renewed in 2016, Law & Crime Network reports. The rapper was awarded $82.6 million in damages.
