Those people who are not from Delaware, don’t know the beauty we do have. We’ve got stunning beaches being recognized as some of the best along the east coast, and the most beautiful hiking trails.
To find us listed as one of the top ranking grossest states across the country, came as a surprise. Sure, we have older building and terrible roadways, but grossest? Really? Delaware ranks at #9 on the list.
In order to determine the rankings, the folks over at Zippia had certain criteria they put into play. The three main factors were dirty air, trash and the spread of illnesses, from data from EPA, CDC and Air Filters Delivered.
Other states in the top 10 include, in order from number 1, Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, New Jersey, Connecticut, Georgia and New York. You see full rankings here.
