Two Delaware Beaches Are On Travel + Leisure’s List Of Best East Coast Beaches

Warmer weather is approaching and it’s time to start thinking about those last minute Spring Break vacations on the horizon and summer break.

Of course, the beach is on the forefront of everyone’s minds as the heat makes it’s way our way.  Days of walks on the beach, casual seafood dinners and drinks at night are almost upon us.

With that in mind, Travel + Leisure put out a list of the best east coast beaches and two of Delaware’s beaches are on the list.  Not sure we want all of these people nationwide knowing about our hidden gems, but I guess it’s too late now.

So, what two beaches made the list?  Bethany Beach and Cape Henlopen.  Read what T + L had to say about each beach here.   Beaches in Maryland, Ocean City and Assateague Island, are also on the list, along with The Cove and Sandy Hook in New Jersey.

The Best Restaurant In Every City In Delaware

We all love food. And in Delaware, food is serious business. Did you know that there are over 2.000 restaurants in the First State? But we’re looking for the Best Restaurant In Every City In Delaware. No matter where you are in the state.

To be one of the most popular restaurants in any town within the state is a big deal. There’s clearly a lot of competition. It’s hard for me to pick my favorite because of all the different types of cuisine. I may be able to pick out my favorite Mexican, Japanese, Italian, but to choose an overall favorite is tough!

If you ever wondered if your personal favorite is the most popular in town, now you’ll have the answer. There are over 70 towns in Delaware to choose from.  I used Yelp to find the highest rated restaurant in each city/town. So EVERY city and town in Delaware may be a slight exaggeration, but some of the small towns don’t even have restaurants.

I hope you’re not hungry!  If you are, you’ll be running out for a bite after drooling over this list of restaurants you’ll want to try.

And, the timing couldn’t be more perfect if you’re still making your Valentine’s or Galentines’ Day plans.
