Over 15 Delaware Valley Dogs Will Be In The Puppy Bowl
The Chiefs and Eagles won’t be the only ones taking the field on February 12th. Over 15 Delaware Valley dogs will be in the Puppy Bowl.
Puppy Bowl XIX kicks off just a few hours before the big game, and will once again highlight dogs needing families.
The even functions as an adorable and fun way to bring adoption to the forefront of our minds,
In total 34 different states will be featured in the ruff and rowdy contest.
According to WHYY eight Delaware Valley animal rescues will be featured.
New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania will have nineteen total representatives.
Of course their names are incredible!
Daisy, Ireland, Tia, Dalton, Eleven, Kai, Venturi, Wolfie, Ritz, Barnaby, Effie, Myrtle, Chaos, Gordon, Poe, Walker, Asiago, and Amanda will all be in Puppy Bowl XIX.
But the name that takes the treat is Tailen Hurts! A nice play of words off of Eagles starting quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Our friend over at the Brandywine Valley SPCA will be well represented in the Puppy Bowl.

“The pooch lovers’ pre-show to the Feb. 12 Super Bowl, airing before the big game (2 p.m. EST/11 a.m. PST), returns. Puppy Bowl XIX features perennial pooch powerhouses Team Ruff and Team Fluff competing for the Lombarky Trophy. Each team is stacked with adorable (and adoptable) puppies who romp on a model stadium’s turf for the three-hour show” according to USA Today.
You can find the Puppy Bowl across multiple platforms. Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, TBS, HBO Max and Discovery+ will all host the annual bark bowl.

The Kitty HalftTime Show features adoption-ready kittens from three shelters who strut their stuff and do what they do best – play with cat toys.
