Kim Kardashian Accused Of Using Photoshop After Oscars After-Party Photos Emerge
Kim Kardashian has been accused of editing her social media posts once again after photos from the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party showed her real skin texture.
The reality star, 41, who is known for showcasing her looks to her millions of Instagram followers, was called out by fans on Reddit as they compared a social snap to professional ones taken at the after-party over the weekend.
The star’s skin texture looked noticeably different from photos posted to Kim’s Instagram grid – with fans accusing Kim of filtering her visage and setting ‘unrealistic standards’ of beauty. Per Daily Mail, one person wrote, “When you’re so used to seeing the smoothed filtered photos it’s a bit of a shock when we get a real image. She looks fabulous in both photos. But different.”
Another added, “Exactly she looks FINE they need to quit setting the unrealistic standards for themselves because that’s what pisses off everyone anyways.”
“We’re just so used to seeing so much photoshop that the real-life version ends up being a shock,” commented another person.
Back in January the SKIMS founder deleted one of her Instagram photos after being accused of Photoshopping her body. While on her recent Bahamas getaway with boyfriend Pete Davidson, eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that her back leg looked distorted in one image, with a curve appearing behind her knee. As fans flocked to comment on the mishap, Kim was quick to delete the post and re-uploaded the images without the badly Photoshopped picture.
