American Red Cross Offers Blood Donors Chance To Win Super Bowl Tix

The NFL is doing its part to help with the blood shortage by offering blood donors the chance to win tickets to the 2022 Super Bowl in Los Angeles via the American Red Cross.

The package includes tickets to the game, round-trip airfare, three-night hotel accommodations, and a $500 gift card for expenses.

According to The New York Post, last week, the Red Cross warned of the blood crisis citing the 62% drop in college and high school blood drives due to the COVID-19 pandemic as two contributing factors.

Other reasons for the blood shortage were ongoing blood drive cancellations because of illness, staffing limitations, weather-related closures, a surge of COVID-19 cases, and an active flu season.

We're facing a national blood crisis.
