Bob Odenkirk Receives Well-Wishes From ‘Breaking Bad’ Co-Stars
Bob Odenkirk’s Breaking Bad co-stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have sent well wishes to the actor after he collapsed on the set of his TV show Better Call Saul.
The 58-year-old collapsed while filming the final season in New Mexico due to a “heart-related incident,” representatives for the actor told CNN yesterday (July 28), adding that he was in a stable condition.
Writing on Instagram yesterday, Cranston wrote, “Today I woke up to news that has made me anxious all morning. My friend, Bob Odenkirk collapsed last night on the set of Better Call Saul. He is in the hospital in Albuquerque and receiving the medical attention he needs but his condition is not known to the public as yet. Please take a moment in your day today to think about him and send positive thoughts and prayers his way, thank you.”
Meanwhile, Paul also posted a photo of Odenkirk on his Instagram and wrote alongside it: “I love you my friend.🖤”

Breaking Bad ran for five seasons between 2008 and 2013 and saw Cranston’s Walter White and Paul’s Jesse Pinkman initially acquire the services of criminal defense attorney Saul Goodman, played by Odenkirk, to help them launder their money.
In a statement, Odenkirk’s family thanked medical staff for looking after the actor and fans for their well wishes.
News of Odenkirk’s condition also prompted messages of support from his Better Call Saul co-stars.
Michael McKean, who plays his brother, Chuck, in the series, was one of many wishing the actor well on social media. “Sending huge love to our @mrbobodenkirk. You got this, brother,” McKean tweeted.

Better Call Saul is a prequel series that follows the trajectory of a shifty Jimmy McGill as he transforms into criminal defense lawyer Saul Goodman, who showcases snippets of his conman beginnings while also working towards as a respectable attorney.
The role has garnered Odenkirk four Golden Globe nominations and four Emmy nominations. He also recently appeared in the lead role for action film, Nobody, which arrived in March.
The 13-episode final season of Better Call Saul is slated to premiere next year.
