Sonic Slush Flavors Being Used in New Line of Hard Seltzers
Sonic is jumping on the hard seltzer trend and is partnering with an Oklahoma-based brewery to create its own line of seltzers inspired by their popular slush flavors.
The news first surfaced via a tweet from Greg Horton of Oklahoma’s 405 Magazine. He wrote, “Definitely the biggest beverage news this year for Oklahoma. @sonicdrivein and @COOPAleWorks have entered into an agreement that will triple COOP’s production.” He added, “Sonic is bringing some of their famous flavors to hard seltzer starting May 1.”

An official announcement hasn’t come from Sonic or its brewery partner COOP Ale Works. Oklahoma City Fox affiliate KOKH reported they received confirmation of the news from Sonic.
From the photos shared by Horton, the Sonic Hard Seltzer line will feature eight different flavors. Those eight flavors can be split into two categories: Citrus and Tropical. The Citrus flavors are Lemon Berry, Classic Lemonade, Cherry Limeade, and Original Limeade. The Tropical flavors include Orange Pineapple, Mango Guava, Ocean Water, and Melon Medley. Both Citrus and Tropical flavors will be available in variety 12-packs.
