One Papa John’s Pizza delivery driver is unlike the others, delivering pizzas 30 hours a week at age 89 for some extra cash.

Derlin Newey takes enthusiasm to a new level when working the part time job. He greets every customer the same, with “Hello! Are you looking for some pizza?”

One customer in particular, Carlos Valdez, made friends with Newey, videotaping his deliveries on TikTok. Valdez’s 60k TikTok followers fell in love with the 89 year old delivery man so much, they came together to raise money for him as a generous tip.

They all pitched in raised over $12,000 to give to the elderly man.

Valdez stated, “Somebody at that age should not be working that much” according to People Magazine.
