In an interview over the weekend, Kanye West allegedly said that his first choice for a running mate in his presidential campaign is his friend and occasional collaborator, Jay-Z.

XXL reports that Kanye said during an interview, "You know who my favorite candidate is for my running mate is?," Kanye said, and then hinted that the person had the same initials as South Carolina. The interviewer then realized that Kanye was referring to Shawn Carter, Jay Z's birth name, and 'Ye confirmed this.  He also noted that he hadn't spoken to Jay about it.

Meanwhile, the online sentiment about Kanye's first presidential rally yesterday -- where he questioned Harriet Tubman's accomplishments -- has been harsh.
