Delaware Releases Guidelines for Schools, If Students Return
Delaware Online is reporting that if students return back to Delaware schools in the fall, the following can be expected.
Mandated masks for students fourth grade and up, outdoor instruction when possible, social distancing on buses
The Department of Education offers recommendations for three different COVID-19 scenarios: minimal community spread, minimal-to-moderate community spread, and significant community spread.
“We’re continuing to work closely with the public health team on those specific questions,” said Johnathan Starkey, spokesperson for the governor’s office. “We closely follow hospitalizations and percent of positive cases…We’ll have more to say on that in early August.”
