Kim Kardashian was rich, but now she is rich rich.
As reported yesterday, the reality star sold 20 percent of her makeup brand to Coty Inc. for $200 million. With this purchase, Coty will develop new products with KKW, including skincare, hair, and nail brands.
According to Kanye West, this business decision officially catapulted Kim to billionaire status.
On social media, the rapper praised his wife, writing, “I am so proud of my beautiful wife Kim Kardashian West for officially becoming a billionaire You’ve weathered the craziest storms and now God is shining on you and our family So blessed this is still life So I made you this still life We love you so much.”

Kim also acknowledged her new status, writing, “So blessed and forever grateful” on Instagram. On another post, she added, “Manifest it all. Dreams do come true.”
However, Forbes estimates Kardashian West’s net worth at about $900 million.
