Sex Addict Sues Twitch Over Female Streamers Leading to ‘Injuries’

A California man, who’s a sex addict, is suing Twitch for “making it nearly impossible…to use Twitch without being exposed to such sexual suggestive content” from female streamers which has led to various “injuries.”

The 56-page lawsuit lists in detail that the plaintiff, Erik Estavillo, “suffers from Depression, OCD, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia and Crohn’s Disease,” in addition to being a sex addict. As a result, “he heavily relies on the internet for all his entertainment purposes.”

“Twitch has extremely exacerbated his condition by displaying many sexually suggestive women streamers through Twitch’s twisted programming and net code making it nearly impossible for the plaintiff to use Twitch without being exposed to such sexual suggestive content,” reads the lawsuit.

In the lawsuit, Estavillo lists a number of injuries or incidents that have resulted from his Twitch use including severe chaffing from using a fleshlight and severely bloodshot eyes from hours of “staring at the breasts of girl streamers, which ends up damaging his retina.” The lawsuit also reads, “The Plaintiff once ejaculated on his PC monitor, causing a short circuit and small fire within the electrical system of his gaming rig and causing his apartment to black out temporarily.”

So, what judgment is Estavillo seeking? The permanent ban of sexual female and male streamers that violate Twitch’s terms of service and “$25 million in punitive damages to be split between the plaintiff and other Twitch Prime Turbo Subscribers, with any monies left over to be donated to both COVID-19 and Black Lives Matters charities and funds of the Court’s choosing.”

For their part, Twitch issued a statement about the lawsuit to the New York Post saying, “These claims are frivolous and have absolutely no merit.”
