Another brand of flour is being recalled amid E. coli concerns. Pillsbury has announced a recall of Pillsbury Best 5-Pound Bread Flour after discovering it could be infected with E. coli. The company says the 4,600 potentially infected cases were distributed in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

Packages of the flawed flour have lot codes of 8342 or 8343 and expiration dates of either June 8th, 2020 or June 9th, 2020.

The announcement comes on the heels of last week’s recall involving 14,000 cases of flour sold by Wal-Mart and Target.

So far, no reports of illnesses involving either recalled batch have been reported, the FDA says.
