Disney’s live-action version of their classic film “Aladdin” has officially made more money than its animated original. The animated tale made $200 million when it hit theaters back in 1992 and the live-action remake has made $232 million since hitting theaters in May.
The success of “Aladdin” adds another notch in the belt of Disney for a successful 2019, as they hold the top three spots for the highest-grossing films of 2019 so far with “Avengers: Endgame” “Captain Marvel,” and now “Aladdin.”
