Ever since BTS' Jungkook joined Ariana Grande backstage after her show, fans have been buzzing over whether or not the K-pop crossover group would be collaborating with one of pop's current queens of the charts.

Grande posted a snap of the two, writing "screaming. thank u soooooo much for coming to my show, Jungkook. it meant so much. love u sm."

But a new report from Hollywood Life has insiders saying it's only a matter of time before the group joins forces.

“Ariana loves BTS’ new song ‘Boy With Luv’ and would love to do a song in the same vein with them,” a source told HL.  "Since both Ariana and BTS are always working on music and are in the studio, it is only a matter of time that they do something. Sometime in between their tours, they will try to get something done.”

“Ariana loves the group, she has a piece of her heart devoted to boy bands and BTS reminds her of everything she liked about NSYNC," the source said. "Their music and their dance ability makes her get all the feels."

As for when the collaboration could go down, fans will just have to wait and see as the source says with their schedules, "it's a work in progress."
