Title:  On-Air Talent (Part Time)

Beasley Media Group’s legendary Adult Contemporary station, MIX 99.5, WJBR in Wilmington, DE, is looking for a weekend air personality.

You must have at least 3 years of on-air experience in any size market and be a fan of AC or HOT AC radio, know its core artists and lifestyle, and deliver an on air sound that compliments the station.  You must be available Saturdays and/or Sundays for midday and afternoon air shifts.   WJBR hosts broadcast from our WJBR studios, so candidates must live within commuting distance of Wilmington, Delaware.

Qualifications:

3 years on-air experience, any size market with

    • An appreciation of AC and Hot AC radio
    • Knowledge of core artists and listener lifestyle
    • Knowledge of current events and pop culture..
    • Working knowledge of WideOrbit, VoxPro and Adobe Audition
    • Basic understanding of Social Media Posting (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
    • Flexibility, able to work different shifts and dayparts
    • Available for events and station/client/fan engagements
    • Able to adhere to all guidelines, policies and procedures of the station, the FCC, and all other federal, state, and local laws.

  • solid relationships with advertising and business communities a plus;
  • excellent and creative presentation skills to sell marketing solutions;
  • organized sales approach, regarding client marketing analysis, targeting consumer needs, and providing measurable benefits and follow-up;
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
