Title: 99.5 WJBR Account Executive

Beasley Media Group is searching for sales professionals to develop and sell advertising and marketing campaigns for their Wilmington Radio Station 99.5 WJBR. Responsibilities include soliciting new business through prospecting and cold calling, managing, and growing existing assigned accounts and budgets, as well as identifying client advertising needs. The position includes contacting prospective customers to sell radio time for the broadcasting station/network. The ideal candidate will develop and present customized solutions to meet those clients’ needs. The successful candidate will cultivate and maintain relationships with clients by providing top quality service.
Qualifications:
- Must have a passion for sales
- Must prepare promotional plans, sales literature, and advertising proposals
- Must develop proposals utilizing MS office products
- Must investigate and resolve customer challenges
- Communicate with other departments to assure quality service in placing orders
- Arrange promotional events
- Attend sales meeting, training sessions, and client remotes
- Must have valid driver’s license with stellar driving record

Title: Part-Time Promotions Assistant (Street Team)
Location: Wilmington, DE

Beasley Media Group Wilmington is looking for energetic Street Team members to execute and manage station appearances at sales and station remotes and events. Someone who can engage with station listeners while promoting the station and client brands, executing contests on-site, managing/distributing station prizes, client product sampling, etc.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Driving station promotional vehicles and transporting equipment – must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Driver’s license
- Must be able to work up to 29 hours a week and have a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Setting up, running, breaking down sound systems, staging and audio/photography/video equipment
- Some heavy lifting could be involved (up to 50 lbs)
- Assist with administrative functions of radio station promotions, including but not limited to: returning listeners phone calls, mailing out prizes, organizing on air giveaways, writing copy for promotions, updating station websites, digital/social media platforms and assisting the Marketing Director.
