Gilmore Girls is many things: A lifestyle, a religion and, of course, one of the greatest examples of the joy of coffee.
If you need further proof, the nice people at Warner Bros. TV even created this supercut of the show’s most iconic coffee moments. In it, you’ll find, among other moments:

If you need further proof of the importance of coffee to Gilmore Girls fandom, let’s go back to 2016. To celebrate the show’s 16th anniversary and the pending release of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, nearly 200 cafes across the United States were transformed into Luke’s Diner locations. (And if you needed proof of this author’s Gilmore Girls fandom, just look at the flashback Instagram post below.)
For one very special day, fans lined up at these cafes to enjoy a special cup of coffee in Luke’s Diner cups, complete with special branded sleeves. As if that weren’t enough, the cup itself featured another iconic Lorelai quote about coffee:
“Everything in my life has something to do with coffee. I believe in a former life, I was coffee.”
With all of this in mind, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to honor the iconic series with this collection of Gilmore Girls mugs. Surely, there’s one for you below for whenever you need coffee, which is always, obviously. No judgment here on whether you drink it, shoot it, eat it or snort it. We all know a certain Stars Hollow resident understands.
