Wilmington DE Area Events Weekend of Oct 22 are many and all over the region!

As we approach Halloween the fall season events (like the leaves) are at a peak this weekend and next!

It’s a BYE week for the 6-0 Eagles, so that means we have all day on Sunday too to enjoy these family friendly Wilmington DE area events weekend of Oct 22! (Ok, the Phillies play Sunday afternoon at 2:37pm…so you have until then to get in your fall fun!)

From Fall Festivals, to craft beer events and car shows, New Castle and surrounding counties offer a variety of great times on what promises to be a pretty fall weekend!

  Saturday October 22 at 1124 E. 7th Street in Wilmington.  Come aboard an indoor Halloween Ghost Ship at the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation’s 4th Annual free family costume event.  Free tours, crafts, pumpkin painting, a costume parade, face painting andmore!  Free admission and parking!

  It’s this Sunday October 23rd starting at lot 5A at Nemours Children’s Hospital.   There is a 5K run and walk and a shorter 1.5 mile walk and a Hero Salute Parade at 9:30 after the race.  You can register on site on race day.

• Milford Museum's Ghost Walk

  It’s at 101 NW Front Street in Milford on October 22nd from 6 to 8pm.

  Join the Milford Museum on a walk through downtown to hear stories of murder, poison, and other horrifying events that took place in the past. Hear from spirits themselves, and experience the creepy and macabre stories that plague the town’s history.

  The tour will begin at the Towers Bed and Breakfast, and end at the Causey Mansion Bed and Breakfast.

  **This tour is a walking tour, and will require participants to walk around half a mile. Please wear proper shoes and clothing.

• Trunk Or Treat in Middletown DE

  

  It’s Saturday October 22nd from 1 to 3pm at The Town Church at 160 Commerce Drive in Middletown.  All are welcome for an afternoon of decorated trunks, spooky themes, games and tons of candy!
