This Spot Is Delaware’s #1 Tourist Trap
This will probably come as no surprise to those of us living in the First State. Many locals and tourists alike flock to Delaware Beaches for long holiday weekends and of course during the beautiful summer months.
There are plenty of touristy things to do along the Delaware Coast. A visit to The Starboard comes to mind. The Nemours Estate here in Wilmington. Maybe Dover Downs? But, what is considered to be Delaware’s #1 Tourist Trap? The good old Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk.
According to a study done by BestLife, the boardwalk takes #1. They describe the hot spot as, a frequent recipient of Travelers’ Choice awards from Tripadvisor with visitors raving about the snacks. Although, some tourists have chimed in about the boardwalk being overcrowded at times with difficult parking.
With so many neighboring states, we thought you might be interested in the number one tourist traps in those states as well. So, we’ve listed New Jersey, Maryland and Pennsylvania below too. Along with a few others that seem to be frequent travel spots from Delaware.
The choice for Florida’s #1 tourist trap will definitely come as a surprise. I’m not sure I’ve even heard of it.
