The state’s pilot Electronic Speed Safety Program will soon go into effect, and speed cameras will be looking to catch drivers going too fast in the work zone area of I-95 in Wilmington, according to NBC 10 Philadelphia.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • When will the cameras go up?

  • When will tickets be issued?

    There will be a 30-day grace period before tickets are distributed.  The first violation will result in a warning

  • How will I get my ticket?

    Tickets will be mailed to the you.  One warning is allowed, and then tickets will go out

  • How much is the fine?

    The minimum ticket is $74.50.  $1 extra will be added for every mile you’re over the speed limit
