Christmas is just around the corner, and every family is getting excited for the big day!

Santa has been very busy this year, so what if he took the time to write a letter to all of his favorite families. In this letter, Santa might thank everyone for being so good this year, and he promises that he will be delivering presents to all the good boys and girls on Christmas morning. He also mentions that he is looking forward to seeing everyone on Christmas Eve! Are you ready for Christmas?

Imagine the look on your son or daughter’s face when they get mail from the North Pole!  They get excited about any mail really, but from Santa?  They’ll be over the moon.

The Greetings from the North Pole Post Office program adds to the excitement of Christmas and is ideal for getting kids interested in letter writing, stamps and penmanship.

So, not only is this a super cool Christmas tradition, they’re learning something valuable too!

You’ll just need a few things.  Your child’s letter and reply letter, two different writing utensils, a standard envelope with postage and a larger envelope with postage.

Here’s how you can get your child a letter postmarked from the North Pole

  • Have the child write a letter to Santa and place it in an envelope addressed to: Santa Claus, North Pole.

  • Write a personalized response to the child's letter and sign it "From Santa."

  • Insert both letters into an envelope, and address it to the child.

  • Add the return address: SANTA, NORTH POLE, to the envelope.

  • Ensure a First-Class Mail stamp is affixed to the envelope.

  • Place the complete envelope into a larger envelope, with appropriate postage, and address it to:

    NORTH POLE POSTMARK
    POSTMASTER
    4141 POSTMARK DR
    ANCHORAGE AK 99530-9998

  • Recommended to send your letters by December 10. Santa’s helpers in Anchorage, AK, will take care of the rest!
