How is National Ice Cream Month (July) already over? As summer winds down, we thought we’d share that a Hockessin Ice Cream Shop Named One of America’s Must Try.
As we’ve found out from our WJBR Game of Cones bracket contest, Delawareans are passionate about their favorite ice cream shops. And we had the votes to prove that. In fact, look out for another fun, local bracket to come out soon!
The crew over at Thrillst put together a list of the The 40 American Ice Cream Shops You Need to Try Right Now. We were pumped to see Delaware represented on the list.
So, what is this Hockessin Ice Cream Shop? None other than Woodside Creamery. They’ve also been named as Delaware’s Best Ice Cream by Delaware Today. And they’re serving up some out of the box flavors. Their menu lists Bacon, Peanut Butter and Jelly and Motor Oil! Motor Oil? What’s that? According to the flavor list, motor oil is Coffee ice cream with a caramel & fudge swirl. And the caramel is GREEN!
