Downtown Wilmington September 2022 events are a great way to wrap up summer and kick off fall!

Now that we are leaving beach season behind, local events in and around Wilmington DE are really ramping up!

Our friends from Downtown Visions of Wilmington manage the business improvement district. They work on saving historic buildings and help out small business with marketing and promotion.

They also promote fun Downtown Wilmington September 2022 events.

Mix 99.5 WJBR encourages you to have fun and enjoy that all that Downtown has to offer!

  • City Sounds Block Parties

    Block Parties happen on select nights from now through the end of October. Enjoy outdoor dining, live music and fun from 5:30-8:30pm.
    9/15-The X Band Experience performing on West 9th Street.
    9/22-What The Funk performing on the 800 Block of Market Street.

    On September 24th, join LaFate Gallery at 227 N. Market Street in celebration of their 7th anniversary.

    MKT Gallery at 200 W. 9th St. is a boutique art gallery and private event space in Downtown Wilmington.  They feature monthly exhibits.

    Enjoy a Solo Acoustic Evening with Josh Ritter at The Grand on September 17th.

    The Queen features Appetite for Destruction: A Tribute to Guns N’ Roses on September 24th.
