Delaware’s Top Ranked Hotel Is In Wilmington

There’s always time to get away or have a staycation. Delaware’s top ranked hotel is in Wilmington.

The Hotel Du Pont came away with the top ranked in this year’s US News & World Report’s Best Hotels in USA.

The Wilmington hotel topped 15 other hotels to be named Delaware’s best.

US News & World Report described the hotel perfectly. “Nestled in the Wilmington’s financial district, HOTEL DU PONT has been catering to luxury travelers since 1913. And its trimmings are as ritzy as they come: Gilded ceilings welcome guests in the lobby while gold chandeliers and fumed oak paneling accompany diners in the traveler favorite Le Cavalier restaurant. Upstairs, the 217 rooms and suites are simpler in comparison, but guests still appreciate perks like large soaking tubs, flat-screen TVs, minibars, coffee makers complimentary Wi-Fi and a bevy of floor space. Outside of the rooms you’ll find a fitness center, business center and a car service that you can book.”
