It’s National Sandwich Day! What better way to celebrate than Delaware’s Top 5 Sandwich Spots!

The sandwich is a religion in the Northeast of the United States.

EVERYTHING matters! The meat, the toppings, the temperature.

But bread is arguably the thing that will make or break your stacked delight.

TONS of sandwich shops will be running specials on National Sandwich Day.

Capriotti’s will have an amazing offer from now through the end of the year. The shop is offering cheesesteak subs topped with Capriotti’s signature liquid gold sauce. Plus when you download the app and sign up for the rewards program, you’ll get $2 off your next purchase.

You can get a FREE chicken sandwich at Popeye’s today. Customers can get a free chicken sandwich combo (classic or spicy) for free when they buy one at regular price. You must order via the Popeyes app or website to get the deal. This deal will run through November 9th.

Quiznos is offering $3 off any 12-inch sub via a Q Pass for Toasty Points members to celebrate National Sandwich Day during the month of November. The promotion begins Nov. 3.

If you have recently flew in the middle seat of a plane you can grab a free hoagie at Subway! The chain is giving away 10,000 free subs and you can upload a photo of yourself at SubwaySandwichSeat.com.

Panera is also running deals. Panera Bread is giving new and existing MyPanera members $1 off any sandwich, including “You Pick Two” and full sandwiches Thursday.

Of course the McRib is back! McDonald’s is claiming this will be the final run of the infamous meat product.

They’ve even released a merchandise line celebrating the BBQ treat. You just have to try it to get it.

  • 4. Main Street Market

Located in Smyrna one reviewer said “4th generation owner operators. I believe in traditions so I got the Buddy steak. It came with fried onions, mushrooms and Buddy’s buttery cream sauce who’s is only occasionally shared with friends. The roll had a nice crust and was very chewy. Good amount of meat and it was obviously real steak.”

  • 3. Glasgow Deli

Their menu feature a ton! Including the “Bugs Bunny” which has Spinach, tomatoes, onion, cucumbers, roasted red peppers, black olives & basil pesto mayonnaise.

  • 2. Bavarian Bakery and Deli

Located in Dover one reviewer said “ Breakfast sandwiches on a light and airy croissant are very good and we had an Italian deli sandwich that was excellent.  Highly recommend – everything we have tried has been terrific!  Pastries are not overly sweet. The soft pretzels are amazing in texture and flavor.  We plan to return many times to try one of everything! “

  • 1. The Little Grocer

Located in Dover, one reviewer said “They make a darn good hoagie for being so far from Philly!”
