When you think Delaware, you don’t think of it as a place for famous foods.  But, little do people know that our small state is packing a punch when it comes to some of the foods and flavor we have in the The First State.

Eric Ruth from The Food Network put us to the test and came up with 15 foods here in Delaware, for a Feast In The First State.  Here is his full list Delaware’s 15 Must Have Foods, According To Food Network.

  There once was a time when this, now famous, Capriotti’s Thanksgiving-inspired submarine sandwich was only available in Delaware.  Not anymore!  The Bobbie is now available at Capriotti’s locations nationwide.

  Found down the Delaware coast, enjoy choices of chicken, pulled pork or beef, with all the fixins.

• The Nic-o-Boli

  A relative to the calzone.  The Nic-O-Boli can only be found hot in Delaware, at Nicola’s Pizza in Rehoboth.  Pizza dough stuffed with ground beef and other fillings of your choice.
