Delaware Residents Could Earn Over $100k At These 5 Remote Jobs

Do you work from home? Do you feel like you are the only one you know going into the office?

That could change with moving to a career that is fully remote!

Since the pandemic and COVID-19 office culture has changed drastically. Some people are in office, others work a hybrid schedule, tons are working right from their kitchen table!

Remote workers can easily wear sweatpants all day long, and no one would know! (This is my favorite reason to go remote.)

Some remote jobs do however have restrictions on the are you can live AND work remotely.

According to Small Business Playbook “most remote jobs have geographic requirements, whether its a specific country, state, or city, mainly due to state and federal regulations that dictate where companies can hire people and do business.”

FlexJobs put together a list of the most in-demand remote jobs where some can earn over $100k.

“Although marketing, online content, and writing secured the top placement for work-from-anywhere career categories, there was strong growth in gaming, entertainment, and media during the first part of 2023” FlexJobs reports.

  • Chinese Translator

    A quick check of Indeed will show many Chinese Translator jobs. Seems to be that most of these positions are helping people translate over zoom or via phone call. The postings say no experience translating is necessary and they will train you…but you do need to be fluent in the language already.

  • Copywriter

    LinkedIn explains a copywriter as “a member of the creative team, the copywriter will write and edit content for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the account and design teams to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and articulate messaging.”

     

  • Customer Success Manager

    This career has been all over Tik Tok and Twitter recently. I have noticed numerous people shifting their career to this. But, what does a Customer Success Manager do?

    According to ZenDesk “A customer success managers (CSM) supports your customers as they transition from sales prospects to active users of your products. They’re focused on customer loyalty and building close long-term client relationships, and often stay with the same customers as long as they continue to work with your business.”

  • Technical Writer

    Technical writers essentially write all those instructions we follow when buying a new product. They also write how-to’s, journal articles, and other documents.

  • Social Media Manager

    If you are always on Instagram and Facebook posting…you might as well try and monetize it.

    Google will show that the starting salary for a remote Social Media Manager in Delaware is $62k. But it seems like that salary could increase pretty quickly AND it can all be done remotely.
