The holidays are full of warm, comforting dishes and family recipes. I like to be the person everyone depends on to provide a signature cocktail for get togethers.
Here is a list of some of my favorite crowd-pleasers from Christmas morning mixers to post Black Friday Shopping sipping!
Eggnog Martini

Ingredients
3oz Eggnog
1oz Vanilla Vodka
1oz Amaretto
- OR-
2 oz Brandy
Directions
Shake, strain and serve up in a martini glass rimmed with Cinnamon Sugar
Top with Whipped Cream, Nutmeg and Cinnamon
Easy Apple Cider Mimosas

Ingredients
Your favorite champagne
Farm Fresh or store bought apple cider
Directions
Mix to your liking and enjoy!
Spiked Cider

Ingredients
2 oz Spiced Rum
4 oz Apple Cider
Garnish with a cinnamon stick and orange slice
Directions
Pour over rocks or mix and enjoy straight up!
Christmas Cosmo On The Rocks

Ingredients
2 oz Vodka
4 oz Cranberry Gingerale
1 squeeze of lime
1 sprig of rosemary
1 tsp pomegranate seeds
Directions
Mix and enjoy! (Make it a mule with Ginger beer instead of cran ginger ale in triple the lime)
Mulled Wine
Ingredients
1 bottle of Pinot Noir (or bold fruit forward red wine)
1/2 Cup Brandy
1 1/2 Cups Apple Cider
1 cup Orange juice (freshly squeezed or no sugar added, store-bought)
2 Blood oranges
1/3 cup Cranberries, fresh
2 Pears
1/3 cup Pomegranate seeds
1/3 cup Maple syrup
2 Cardamom pods
3 Cinnamon sticks
1 tsp Cloves, whole
1 Star anise pods, whole (optional)
Directions
Simmer all liquids for at least 1 hour (up to 3)
DO NOT BOIL
add sliced fruits 15 minutes before serving
Strain and serve in a glass or mug
Garnish with an orange slice and handful of cranberries
