Delaware is a state full of love for the holiday season.  There are plenty of festive gatherings to attend with family and friends throughout the entire state.  From parades and Christmas lights to train rides and visits with Santa, the First State has it all.

Since Mix 99.5 WJBR is Delaware’s Christmas Station, and today we are celebrating Christmas in July (July 25, 2023), we have a duty to bring you all things Christmas.

While you’re listening to all of the Christmas classics from 6am – 7pm today on Mix 99.5 WJBR, take a look at all of these Christmas towns we have here in the First State!  You’ll get you excited for the upcoming Holiday Season.  I know I got into the holiday spirit looking at all we have to look forward to when the season rolls around.

    As the holidays draw near, the historic houses of Odessa – many dating back to the Colonial era in Delaware – put on their festive finery for a day of refined revelry in early December.

Tour Tickets are on sale at the Old Academy Building located at 4th & Main Streets or at the Old Bank Building- The Historic Odessa Foundation Visitor's Center located at 201 Main Street Fresh Greens Sale- Located at the Fieldstone Stable 202 Main Street from 9:30 to 4pm This year we will sell freshly cut greens at the barn behind the Wilson-Warner House including White Pine, Magnolia and Boxwood.

    Historic downtown Milford celebrates an old-fashioned yuletide season with the Annual Holiday Stroll. The evening highlights downtown businesses, restaurants and the local arts community as families stroll Walnut Street entertained by the live entertainment including the Christmas Carol Band, a barbershop quartet and even Santa Claus himself.
