4 Easy Ways To Spruce Up Your Space For Spring

Most people look forward to spring time as an opportunity to clean out their closet.

Donation bags pile up by the front door. Winter clothes are transitioned out and Summer clothes are weaved back into rotation.

When the warm weather hits, everyone is ready to clean the dust off, open up the windows and do a little redecorating.

The bright colored throw pillows come out, more plants enter the home and colorful doormats are laid out on the porch.

But you don’t have to break the bank to bring a little life into your home.

It can be easy and affordable to decorate for spring and summer.

That’s why I’ve decided to share some of my favorites.

I love a good redecorating sesh. Sometimes when the mood strikes me I’ll just start moving around furniture. Honestly, it can be a little dangerous to try and lift a couch alone. I don’t recommend it.

If you are looking for a major overhaul, Better Homes And Gardens has a great spring cleaning checklist.

There are much simpler ways to liven up your spaces without completely changing the feng shui of your home.

I’m sharing with you some of the best, quickest and least expensive ways to wow your guests and bring a fresh air into your space no matter what size.

Here are my 4 Easy Ways To Spruce Up Your Space For Spring.

  • Add A Hanging Plant

Adding a hanging plant to any space will elevate the decor.

A hanging plant is a great addition to any space because it’s usually at eye level or a little higher which draws your attention to it immediately.

  • Fresh Scents

    Candle

Bright colors to match your space or a fresh scent like grapefruit or cherry pie can really make your space stand out.

A large candle scented with citrus or fruits can bring a bright and fresh feel to your living space while also making it warm and inviting.

  • Damp Wipe The Dust

Taking a wet towel to the blinds or window fixtures can really help to let the light in.

The last thing you want is to open your windows on a gorgeous day and have a light breeze blow the dust inside.

Help your allergies out and wipe off that dust that’s settled over the winter.

  • Flowers

    tulips

It’s amazing what some fresh cut flowers can do for a room.

They’re bright and beautiful and really make everything seem more aesthetically pleasing.

Bonus points if you have some you can cut from your own garden!

If not, head to your local grocer or produce stand and grab a bunch of beautiful blooms.
